By order dated 03.11.2020, this Court directed the respondent Corporation to prepare two lists of workers under the respondent Greater Chennai Corporation and the relevant portion of the said order reads thus, "

6. Accordingly, this Court is inclined to grant time to the respondent Corporation to prepare the two lists referred to above viz., a) List of 908 workers covered under the G.O., along with their service particulars.

b) List of remaining workers, who have been continuously engaged on daily wage basis or temporary or consolidated wages basis, along with their service particulars.

7. Both the above lists shall be prepared accordingly and filed before this Court, of course with an advance copy to be served to the other side, during the next hearing. It is made clear that if the above said task is not completed and the documents as referred to above are not filed before this Court, adverse inference would be drawn by this Court as no other option would be available and accordingly the issue raised in these writ petitions would be decided by this Court based on the available records."

2. Pursuant to which, Ms.Karthika Ashok learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that, efforts have been taken by the officials of the Greater Chennai Corporation in this regard and considerable progress has already been made and in fact the first list as directed by this Court is prepared and ready, however as far as the second list is concerned, still some more work has to be undertaken. KST the present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 03.11.2020.

3. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that, in view of the above if a week's time is given from today, certainly the remaining work also would be completed and accordingly two lists as has been directed by this Court by order dated 03.11.2020 would be made ready and be filed before this Court.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, further time is granted till 21.12.2020. On that date or before the said date, the order dated 03.11.2020 shall be complied with and the two lists as indicated in the said order shall be filed before this Court. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is ordered.
