ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to issue/restore patta in the name of Arulmighu Angalamman Vagaiyara Temple, Anumandhai by cancelling the patta bearing number 674 in respect of S.No. 254/ 14A - 0.58.00 standing in the name of the 5th respondent, by considering the petitioners representations dated 03.04.2023 and 02.05.2023. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. However, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representations of the petitioner will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 03.04.2023 and 02.05.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the 5th respondent and any other parties concerned. Such exercise shall be carried out by the 2nd respondent within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
