Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records relating tot the petitioner's son detention under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 29.08.2021 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo D.O.No.42/2021, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son

viz., Muthuselvam, S/o.Chithirailingam, aged 27 years, before this Court and set the petitioner's son at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's son detained at the Central Prison, Vellore.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.42/2021 dated 29.08.2021 detaining his son as "Black Marketeer", as contemplated under the Provision of Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.189, Co-Operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department, dated 24.09.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
