This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the proceedings bearing No.RC SchoolsSupdt/MM/RC.No.479/2013-2014 dated 06.07.2013 passed by the fourth respondent, approving the appointment of the petitioner as B.T.Asst.(History) in the third respondent school and pay all the monetary and attendant benefits to the petitioner. 2.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that the approval was granted to the petitioner on 08.07.2013 and thereafter, he retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.11.2016 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
