This petition is filed to condone the delay of 82 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment of conviction and sentence imposed against the petitioner in SC & ST [Prevention of Atrocities Act], Cases Perambalur, in Special Sessions Case No. 04 of 2008, dated 08.03.2022.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent, on being satisfied with the reasons mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered.
