Heard Mr.L.Palanimuthu and Mr.AR.Karthik Lakshmanan, learned counsels for the Petitioners and Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General for the Respondents.
2. By this common order, all the three writ petitions are being disposed of.
3. In these writ petitions, the petitioners are challenging the respective impugned orders dated 10.06.2022 and 18.04.2022, rejecting the refund of the Privelege Fee and Licence Fee during non-transactional period.
4. It is noticed that this Court has already passed a speaking orders both dated 25.07.2023 in WP.Nos.10355 of 2021 etc. batch in Mr.N.Devendra 3/6
Gupta Vs. The State of Tamil Nadu and in W.P.Nos.9177 of 2021 etc. batch in Hotel Manhattan Vs. The State of Tamil Nadu.
5. Learned Sr. Counsel would submit that similar orders were passed earlier on 29.09.2021 by the Madurai Bench of this Court in WA(Md).No.1701 of 2021 has been appealed before the Division Bench and has been stayed and therefore, the writ petition be kept in abeyance.
6. Having considered the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents and having considered the decision of this Court dated 25.07.2023, in the above two mentioned batch of writ petitions, this Court is inclined to allow this writ petition along with consequential relief to the respective petitioners in terms of the orders dated 25.07.2023. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
