ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.05.2026 and consequently verify and furnish particulars, approvals, permissions, resolutions, proceedings, Development Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, lay-out approvals, sale deed particulars and other connected records relating to the re-development / development activities undertaken concerning the properties connected with Kodambakkam Co-operative Housing Society Ltd., Chennai, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that certain documents are sought for from the respondent-Registrar of Co-operative Society, for the reason that the petitioner purchased the property from M/s.Almco Properties Private Limited and there was a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the said M/s.Almco Properties Private Limited and M/s.TS Foundation as Developer and Promoter and Kodambakkam Co-operative Housing Society Limited.
3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent-Registrar of Cooperative Societies submitted that the Writ Petition itself is not maintainable and further, the said Society with whom M/s.Almco Properties Private Limited,
had entered into a MoU, is not a party to the present Writ Petition.
4. Neither the said Almco, nor the Co-operative Society are parties to the present Writ Petition. If the petitioner has purchased the property from the said M/s.Almco, it is for them to work out their remedy with Almco, in accordance with law.
5. For the above reasons, the present Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
