The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2014 received by the respondents 1 to 3 and to comply with the genuine request made therein within a time frame.
2.Mr.V.Ramana Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 24.05.2014 to clear the cattles tied on the road, the 3rd respondent has not taken any action so far.
3.Mr.K.Raja Srinivas, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 3rd respondent would consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2014 and pass orders within a period of eight weeks.
4.Mr.G.Vijayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to pass orders, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the respondents 5 to 7.
5.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 4th respondent submitted that it is only the 3rd respondent, who should consider the petitioner's representation. 6.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 5
to 7, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
