ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned communication of the 4 th respondent dated 17.10.2024 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to issue income certificate, native certificate and community certificate for the petitioner's daughter.
2.
Heard Mr.Dalit Tiger C. Ponnusamy and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.R.Vigneswaran, learned Government Advocate for 6 th respondent.
3.
The case of the petitioner is that he belongs to the Scheduled caste community. He wanted to get the income certificate, native certificate and community certificate for his daughter and hence, submitted a representation before the 4 th respondent. The 4 th respondent through communication dated 17.10.2024 rejected the application mainly on the ground that such an application was not submitted through on-line mode. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has applied through on-line mode on 06.10.2024 and inspite of the same, the same was not considered by the 4 th respondent.
5.
In the considered view of this Court, it is not necessary for this Court to go into the merits of the case since the petitioner has submitted an application through on-line mode on 16.10.2024 by paying the necessary charges and hence, there shall be a direction to the 4 th respondent to deal with the request made by the petitioner and take a decision on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 12-06-2025 rka Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
