ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.A.Gouthaman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

2. The case of the petitioner is that respondent No.8 has put up encroachment in Dry Survey No.48/2 to an extent of 2 Ares in Villanthai North Village, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District. Hence, the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 09.04.2019 to respondent No.2, the Tahsildar, Andimadam Taluk and other officials.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he is restricting the prayer only to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2019 by the concerned authority.

4. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) states that respondent No.2, the Tahsildar, Andimadam Taluk, is the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner.

5. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of matter, we direct respondent No.2 i.e., the Tahsildar,

Andimadam Taluk, Ariyalur District, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2019, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to respondent No.8.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
