Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records and quash the case in Crime No.211 of 2022 on the file the first respondent.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.211 of 2022 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation was completed and the final report was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vanur and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.120 of 2023. It was further submitted that steps are being taken to transfer the case to the Special Court, which is dealing with the MP and MLA cases.

3. In view of the above development, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report, which is taken on file by the Court below, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Page No.2/4
