Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2018 in accordance with law and preventing the respondents 3 to 8 not to construct unauthorised Kalyanamandapam on the land in Survey No.46/9A situated at Poigainallur, Nagapattinam Taluk, Nagapattinam District to secure the ends of justice.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Karthik Jegannath, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner alleges unauthorised construction on the

Government land.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the authorities would conduct survey and as per the report of the survey, further action would be initiated, in accordance with law.

4. In view of the statement made by learned Additional Government Pleader that survey would be conducted and depending upon the survey, further action would be taken expeditiously, the writ petition is disposed of.
