This original petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities as described in the schedule to the petition standing in the name of A.Muthukrishnan who died intestate on 11.09.2004. The petitioners are his two sons and two daughters. Their mother Mrs.Rukmani had died on 22.12.2014.

2.After completing necessary formalities, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. The 1st petitioner, M.Karthikeyan, examined himself as PW-1. The Death Certificate of his father was marked as Ex.P6 and that of his mother was marked as Ex.P7. The Legal Heirship Certificate of his father was marked as Ex.P9. The consent affidavits of his two sisters and brother were marked as Ex.P8 series. The document relating to the share holdings was marked as Ex.P1.

smv 3.In view of the evidence adduced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in the name of the 1st petitioner, M.Karthikeyan.
