O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioners to the lands in Survey No.30/10 of Anumapalli Agraharam Village, Hosur, Krishnagiri District and measuring about 1.60 acres.

2. The case of the petitioners is that the property comprised in Survey No.30/10 of Anumapalli Agraharam Village in Hosur admeasuring 1.60 acres was classified as Inam. It belonged to K.Muniyappa and the petitioners' forefathers purchased it from him by a registered sale deed dated 20.04.1949 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the patta was registered in the name of Nanjappa and after his death the petitioners inherited the property by way of succession.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners on merits in accordance with law. However, the petitioners did not make any representation so far.

4. Considering the same, the petitioners are directed to send a fresh representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the second respondent. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law after giving opportunity of hearing within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
