son detention under Tamil Nadu Act vide detention order, dated 13.05.2025 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings in C.M.P No.50/Bootlegger/2025(M1), quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's father, namely, SAMINATHAN S/o. Marappan, aged 61 years before this Court and set the petitioner's father at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's father detained at Central Prison, Salem.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3712, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 24.06.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
