Heard Mr.T.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepting notice on behalf of respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner was appointed as Lab Technician GradeII in the year 1994. Thereafter, after completion of 10 years of service on 24.11.2004, he was granted Selection Grade Scale of Pay. Subsequently, the petitioner was granted Grade-I promotion, by order dated 20.06.2014. However, the petitioner was in the scale of Rs.9300-4400-34800 instead of Rs.93004600-34800.
3. The petitioner's grievance is that the Grade Pay and pay band have not changed and Special Grade Pay has also not been granted. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation to the second respondent on 20.07.2014. Subsequently, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner has given another representation dated 17.06.2016, which is pending consideration before the second respondent.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that sufficient time may be granted to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner.
5. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the contention raised by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
