O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking direction to the quash the Industrial Tribunal, Chennai in A.P.No.42 of 2012 dated 17.12.2021.

2. Though the present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the Labour Court in A.P.No.42 of 2012 dated 17.12.2021, however, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the matter was settled between the parties and a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- vide cheque bearing No.72002469 dated 23.01.2025 was drawn in favour of the respondent / workman as per the order of this Court dated 14.12.2024 and it is also stated that the said amount has also been obtained by the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

side, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
