Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Declaration, to declare the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in respect of the punishment awarded by the order of the 2nd respondent dated 25.02.1988 made in proceedings C.No.203404/ PR.I(1)/87 have become lapsed is null and void and

consequently direct the respondents herein to pay the retirement benefits such as Death Cum Retirement Gratuity Commutation amount (CVP), Salary, Arrears of Salary inclusive of surrender leave salary as per VI & VII Pay Commission, Enhanced Leave Salary, Terminal Leave Salary D.S.P., Addl S.P. Pay arrears, Full pension Arrears as per VI & VII Pay commission immediately with 12% interest.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to redress the grievance of the writ petitioner for settlement of terminal and pensionary benefits due to him.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent Accountant General of Tamil Nadu made a submission that all the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner has already been settled on 11.08.2022 and he has also furnished the copy of the proceedings dated 19.11.2022 which would reveal that the benefits due to the petitioner are settled.

3. This being the factum established, no further adjudication is required and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
