Prayer :- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order with Lr.No.JE/O&M/ Enjambakkam / F.Doc/.D.No.296/14, dated 22.09.2014 on the file of the first respondent and quash the said impugned communication and consequently direct the first respondent to immediately provide electricity service connection to the petitioner at Door No.5, Brindhavan Nagar, 2nd Avenue Vettuvangani, comprised in S.No.260/2 and 260/3 of Enjambakkam Village, Chennai.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is to quash the order of the first respondent, dated 22.09.2014 and to direct the first respondent to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner at Door No.5, Brindhavan Nagar, 2nd Avenue Vettuvangani, comprised in S.No.260/2 and 260/3 of Enjambakkam Village, Chennai.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the electricity service connection has already been provided to the property of the petitioner at Door No.5, Brindhavan Nagar, 2nd Avenue Vettuvangani, comprised in S.No.260/2 and 260/3 of Enjambakkam Village, Chennai.

3. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
