Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent made in Letter No.1392/B1 of 2013 dated 29.04.2013 in refusing to order refund of Rs.10,00,000/- which was confirmed by the first respondent in his proceedings PA/Mu/No.58329/P1/2013 dated 26.05.2014 and to quash the same and direct the respondents to refund the stamp duty of Rs.10,00,000/- paid by the petitioners under Section 41 of the Stamp Act in the sale deed dated 14.02.2011 registered as Document No.1195/2011 in the office of Sub Registrar, Neelankarai, the third respondent herein.

ORDER
When the matter was listed for hearing on 13.04.2023, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 18.04.2023 under the caption "For Dismissal".
2. Even today, i.e. 18.04.2023, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
