Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to grant the petitioner withheld service benefits namely, annual increment from 01.07.2012, Selection Grade, Surrender of Earned leave and dearness allowance arrears.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the third respondent to grant the petitioner withheld service benefits namely, annual increment from 01.07.2012, Selection Grade, Surrender of Earned leave and dearness allowance arrears.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 2001 and thereafter, served as a Tamil Pandit and retired from service on 31.05.2010.

3. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that her claim for grant of service benefits including annual increment from 01.07.2010, the Selection Grade, Surrender of Earned Leave and Dearness Allowance Arrears had not been considered. Thus, the petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition.

4. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 17.01.2013 and on 12.03.2014. However, the same is not yet disposed of. Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 17.10.2013 and 12.03.2014 and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation and all other relevant documents along with the order passed in the present writ petition.

5.Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 6.
