Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus directing to call for the records on the file of the respondent in proceedings JP 664/1422 dated 16.05.2013 and quash the same and further direct the respondent to issue patta to the petitioners after subjective satisfaction for the plot bearing No.7, Sri Lakshmi Nagar, Mugulivakkam Chennai - 125 in accordance with law within a time period fixed by this Court. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent stated that the applications submitted by the writ petitioners have already been considered and patta has been granted in favour of the writ petitioners. This being the factum of the case no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
