Today, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought by the petitioner has become infructuous and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.

2. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
