O R D E R
The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 11.02.2016 by instructing the lower level officers not to harass the TATA Magic Vehicles of Karaikal members of the petitioner's Association by renewing the license as per law.
2. Mr. R. Sankara Subbu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 11.02.2016, the 1st respondent has not passed any order sofar.
3. Mr. B. Nambiselvan, learned Additional Government Pleader, Puducherry, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the 1st respondent had already passed a circular dated .. 12.2015 and therefore, the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in the light of the circular dated ..12.2015.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2016 and pass orders, taking into consideration the circular dated ..12.2015 in Ref. No.856/TD/TP5/2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
