The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned transfer order dated 30.05.2025 by and in which the petitioner was transferred from Kanchipuram to Trichy.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that, since he has a special child, by virtue of G.O.Ms.No.107 Personnel and Administrative Reforms (S) Department, dated 03.09.2020, he is exempted from a periodical transfer.
3. When the matter was heard in the morning, the learned Government Advocate sought time till the evening to get instructions from the authorities concerned regarding whether the petitioner can be accommodated in nearby places.
4. On instructions from the second respondent, the learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner would be accommodated in Vellore prison, for which, the learned counsel for the petitioner has no grievance.

5. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is allowed quashing the order dated 30.05.2025 and to direct the respondents to give a transfer to Vellore prison in accordance with the administrative procedure.
