Respondents R-4 is suo motu impleaded as per the order of this Court, dated 24.06.2015.
Petition under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents, for having committed contempt of Court, for disobeying the order, dated 18.08.2011, made in W.P.No.19087 of 2009.

O R D E R
Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 and 4, would submit that the Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Adminisitration and Water Supply Department, Chennai-9, has written a letter No.15152/ME.3/2015, dated 23.07.2015, stating that as per the proceedings of the Director of Municipal Administration, dated 20.07.2015, the petitioner herein was appointed as Water Pipe Line Fitter from 27.02.2006, in the pay scale of Rs.3050-4950, by relaxing the service rules in his favour as per G.O.Ms.No.198, Municipal Adminisitration and Water Supply Department, dated 26.10.1998, and the Managing Director of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Chennai, has also been informed to provide monetary benefits, due and payable to the petitioner, and hence prays for closure of the Contempt Petition.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that a time limit may be prescribed to pay the monetary benefits to the petitioner.
3. In the light of the said development, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, the Managing Director of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Chennai, is directed to
comply with the terms of the abovesaid letter of the Principal Secretary, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The letter of the Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Adminisitration and Water Supply Department, Chennai-9, vide No.15152/ME.3/2015, dated 23.07.2015, is placed on record. No costs.
