ORDER

The petitioner, who was elected as the Vice-President of the Panchayat Union in the year 2020, has filed the present writ petition challenging the proceedings convening the meeting for considering the no-confidence motion against him.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the tenure of the petitioner itself has come to an end. In view of the expiry of the term of office, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
