No. 255/15 and thereby to incorporate the petitioner's name in necessary columns therein. For Petitioner :

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 21.09.2020, wherein the petitioner is seeking for adding his name in the Town Survey Land Register.

2.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to one Alamelu Ammal and the patta also stood in her name. The petitioner, thereafter, has purchased the property by a registered sale deed dated

01.07.2005. It is further stated that the name of the petitioner is also incorporated in the Town Survey Land Register at Pallavaram. The grievance of the petitioner is that the revenue record continues to stand in the name of Alamelu Ammal. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents seeking for adding his name in the place of the original owner. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 3.

Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate for respondents. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 21.09.2020 and conduct an enquiry and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the fourth respondent along with all the relevant documents and a copy of this order. 5.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
