Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to strictly maintain the land in Survey No.47/7 of Pannapakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District as Channel Poromboke land thereby preventing villagers/publics to use the land in Survey No.47/7 of Panapakkam Village for burying dead body.

When this writ petition came up for hearing on 10.02.2023, the following orders were passed:

"Since the erstwhile counsel of the petitioner withdrawn his vakalath, which has been taken back by the petitioner, the name and full address of the petitioner was directed to be printed in the cause list. Accordingly, the same has been complied by the Registry.

However, when the case is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner, despite the name and full address has been shown in the cause list. Hence, post the writ petition on 20.02.2023 under the caption "for dismissal"."
