ORDER

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to disburse retirement benefits and pension benefits to the petitioner within the specified time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has made representation dated 16.09.2018 to the respondents to grant retirement and pension benefits. The learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that

the petitioner has remitted a sum of Rs.1,06,350/- as directed by the respondents, but the respondents have not paid his retirement and pensionary benefits till date.

The learned standing counsel appearing for respondentcorporation has submitted that though the petitioner has strongly contented for not taking action on the representation dated 16.09.2018, no proof of acknowledgment has been submitted by the petitioner before this Court. The learned standing counsel appearing for respondent-corporation has further submitted that if the petitioner submits a copy of the said representation, the respondents will consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for respective parties, this Court is inclined to issue the following directions;

i. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of his earlier representation dated 16.09.2018 along with necessary particulars to the first respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ii.On receipt of such representation, the 1st respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on its own merits, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
