Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records relating to the petitioner's son detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 08.06.2023 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo Cr.M.P.No.11/Drug Offender/2023/C1, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son namely Vignesh, S/o Vengadesan Suntharam @ Venkatesan, aged 23 years before this Hon'ble Court and set the petitioner's son at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's son detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR,J.) The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, stated that the impugned order of detention has been revoked. He also produced a copy of the G.O.Rt.No.3912, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department dated 18.07.2023 before this Court.

2. In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as infructuous.
