This petition has been filed seeking to grant a period of six months to complete the investigation and to file a final report as per the direction of this Court through its order dated 17.10.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.23645 of 2023.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that this Court by an order dated 17.10.2023 has directed the Investigating Agency to complete the investigation and to file a final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. He further submitted that the report of the TNFSL in connection with the signatures and sample writings of A1 and A2 are very essential in this case and six months time is needed for receiving the report of the TNFSL. Hence, he sought further time to comply with the order of this Court dated 17.10.2023.

3. Considering the reasons and the request made by the investigating agency, this Court feels it appropriate to extend the time by six months.
