This petition has been filed to amend the respondent's address in the cause title as Gudiyatham PEW Police Station instead of Gudiyatham Taluk Police Station in Crl.O.P.No.14860 of 2025 dated 09.08.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with certain conditions, out of which, one of the conditions is that the petitioner should deposit Rs.20,000/- as non refundable deposit, to the credit of Manolaya, Home for Mentally Ill Destitute, but, the petitioner has not deposited the said amount so far and also not executed the sureties. Hence, he has strongly opposed to allow this petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to the inadvertent error in the address of the respondent's police station and further, omission of the offence under Section 123 of BNS in the Order Copy, the petitioner is not able to comply with order.

5. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, the Registry is directed to amend the address of the respondent police as Gudiyatham PEW Police Station and also include the offence under Section 123 of BNS in Paragraph No.1 of the order copy and issue fresh order copy.

6. Further period of two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to comply with the order.
