The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 427, 324 and 307 IPC Crime No.235 of 2022, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the defacto complainant. Due to which, the petitioners assaulted the defacto complainant and caused injury to him. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioners are no way connected with the alleged offence. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioners attacked the defacto complainant and thereby he sustained injuries. He would further submit that the injured still in hospital. Therefore, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the injured still in hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. 04.08.2022 ata
