This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.11.2017, investigate the same and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent.

3. It appears that despite receipt of the complaint dated 20.11.2017, no action is taken by the respondent. However, on a perusal of the typed-set, it reveals that the Inspector of Police has sought for certain documents from the Tahsildar vide his letter dated 01.02.2018. The same shows that the complaint is under process.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the respondent to complete the enquiry without any further delay and proceed as per law.
