ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Cirme No.46 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lodged a complaint and a case came to be registered in Crime No.46 of 2020, for the offence under Sections 120(B), 406, 420 IPC. Though the respondent has registered a case in the above said Crime Number, no charge sheet is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that in this case investigation is completed and the respondent police may be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

permitted to file the final report, within a period of six months.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of six months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the defacto complainant. This Court also direct the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Thirumangalam, Chennai, to monitor the above said case.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
