ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.08.2020 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 120B,420,467,468 and 471 of IPC, in Crime No.45 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner availed housing loan of Rs.75,00,000/- for purchasing duplex house measuring 1045 sqft at Kuthanur Village in Plot No.37 SB 64/7 measuring 1045 sqft by producing forged and fabricated income tax return statement and cheated the bank. Hence, the law enforcing agency registered a case against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is in jail from 26.08.2020. However he is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner cheated the defacto complainant's bank to the tune of Rs.75,00,000/-. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts of the case and the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
