ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a limited relief. The petitioner seeks an early disposal of I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.244 of 2012, pending on the file of the Additional District Court, Chengalpattu.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents in this civil revision petition, notice to the respondents is dispensed with by this Court.

3. The interlocutory application in I.A.No.3 of 2021 was filed by the petitioner seeking to restore the suit in O.S.No.244 of 2012, which was earlier dismissed for default. According to the petitioner, there is an inordinate delay in the disposal of I.A.No.3 of 2021.

4. After giving due consideration to the year of the said interlocutory application and the nature of the said interlocutory application, this Court deems it fit to direct the trial court to dispose of I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.244 of 2012, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of by directing the trial court, namely the Additional District Court, Chengalpattu to dispose of I.A.No.3 of 2021 in O.S.No.244 of 2012, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
