This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent "not to harass" the petitioners based on the false complaint lodged by Mr.Indirakumar and Mr.Vinayakamurthy, the defacto complainant under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a landlord tenant dispute, it is for the parties to adjudicate the same before the competent Civil Court and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case of this nature.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the landlord tenant dispute and it is open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court.
