Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the representation 03.09.2014 dated filed by the petitioner for issuing the patta in his favour in respect of the land having an extent of 3 acres and 67 comprised in of Survey No.68/5 now Survey No.68/5B1 and 68/5B3 at Vada Aandapattu Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.09.2014 for issuing patta in his favour in respect of the land having an extent of 3 acres and 67 comprised in of Survey No.68/5 now Survey No.68/5B1 and 68/5B3 at Vada Aandapattu Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and to pass orders.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the subject properties and he made representation dated 03.09.2014 to the Official respondents seeking to issue patta in his favour and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2014 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2014, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, if the said representation is available and if it has not yet been considered, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
