Respondents The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the second and the third respondents to allot suitable accommodation based on the order passed by the Tahsildar, in proceedings No.A2/9588/2013, dated 22.4.2013, within a time fixed by the Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the concerned respondents.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of

Mandamus, directing the second and the third respondents to allot suitable accommodation to the petitioner, based on the order passed by the Tahsildar, in proceedings No.A2/9588/2013, dated 22.4.2013, within a stipulated time.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court is pleased to permit the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the third respondent, with regard to the claim of the petitioner for allotment of a flat, in her favour, under the Tsunami affected persons category, within a specified period and on such representation being made, the third respondent may be directed to dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents concerned have no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

In view of such submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, this Court finds it appropriate to permit the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the third respondent herein, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such a representation, the third respondent, shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
