ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register an F.I.R. on the complaint of the petitioner dated 18.08.2025 as per the direction issued by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate for Exclusive trial of CCB Cases (Relating to cheating cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore, Chennai-600 008 in Crl.M.P.No.13386 of 2025 on 23.02.2026.

The contention of petitioner is that the petitioner, earlier filed a petition before the CCB and CBCID, Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.13386 of 2025 making serious allegations that one M.N.Vijayasundaram has been selected and appointed as a trustee in P.T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Trust, as if he holds a genuine degree obtained from the recognised University. But he used a forged and fabricated master degree, as if obtained from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. Hence, a complaint was lodged. On the directions of the Magistrate, the complaint of the petitioner was taken and enquiry conducted, but thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition is filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate filed status report confirming that on the directions of the Magistrate, an enquiry was conducted and the statement

of one Mr.Sambasivam, District Judge (Retd) now Secretary, P.T. Lee. Chengalvaraya Naicker Trust was recorded and genuineness certificate obtained from the Registrar, Annamalai University vide communication dated 08.05.2026 stating that the particulars sent by them are found to be genuine. Further, enquiry revealed that no prima-facie case made out to register an F.I.R. Hence, a detailed report with collected documents filed in Crl.M.P.No.13386 of 2025 on 03.06.2026. He further submitted that the petitioner also filed W.P.No.25275 of 2025 against four persons, in which, Deputy Secretary to the Government Backward Classes, Most Backwar Classes and Minorities Welfare Department filed an affidavit confirming that M.A. (Sociology) Certificate submitted by M.N.

Vijayasundaram was sent to Annamalai University, Chidambaram to find out the genuineness of the certificate. The Controller of Examinations, Annamalai University in its reference letter dated 18.09.2025 had confirmed that the decree certificate of M.N.Vijayasundaram found to be genuine. Hence, putting forth all these facts, the report was submitted to the CCB/CBCID Court.

4.Considering the submissions made and on perusal of the materials, it is seen that on the directions of the Magistrate now enquiry has been conducted by the CCB, Vepery, Chennai and thereafter, on confirming the genuineness of the certificates, a detailed report submitted to the CCB/CBCID Court, Egmore in Crl.M.P.No.13386 of 2025 on 03.06.2026. In view of the same, nothing

survives for further adjudication in this petition. If the petitioner is aggrieved on the finding, he can file an appropriate petition before the concerned Magistrate Court and to agitate the same.

5.With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
