Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent to give police protection to the Devangar Thirumana Mandapam, situated at 361 , Arisipalayam Main Road, Salem - 636 009 and the office bearers, staff of the Devangar Thirumana Mandapam based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.08.2016.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to provide police protection to the Devangar Thirumana Mandapam, situated at No.361, Arisipalayam Main Road, Salem - 636 009 and to the office bearers, staff of the Devangar Thirumana Mandapam.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on account of breach of peace, the matter has been referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Salem, after two FIRs [ in Crime Nos.261 & 262 of 2016] have been registered by the Inspector of Police, Pallapatti Police Station, Salem District.
