ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the Final Panel List of eligible candidates for promotion to the post of Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Sub Ordinate Services based on the petitioner's letter to the third respondent dated 02.07.2020.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the petitioner was given with the promotion to the post of Assistant.

3. Since the petitioner's grievance is redressed, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous Page No.2 of 4

petitions are closed. No costs.
