The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 379 of IPC, in Crime No.248 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Apprehending arrest in Crime No.248 of 2022 registered for the offences under Section 379 of IPC, this petition is filed by the petitioner.
3. In response, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that petitioner along with co-accused had stolen de-facto complainant's cell phone bearing IMEI Nos:861612056248099 & 861612056248081. The cell phone was recovered from the person who received the cell phone from the accused. The accused is absconding. The petitioner has got six previous cases and most of them are similar in nature.

4. Considering the nature of the allegations and the fact the petitioner has six previous cases and he is absconding, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
