ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to settle the pension and arrears from the date of resignation, to the petitioner based on his representation dated 14.10.2014.
2.According to the petitioner, he joined as a permanent whole time employee in the respondent company on 20.04.1987. Thereafter, he was promoted as Administrative Officer and he resigned his job in July 2006, after rendering 19 years and three months service. Stating that his earned leave can be treated as service for the balance period to be required for grant of pension, he made representations, lastly on 14.10.2014 to the first respondent requesting to pay pension under the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
provisions of the General Insurance (Employees) Pension Scheme, 1995. However, till date, no order was passed on the same. Hence, this writ petition.
3.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.
4.Considering the limited relief sought herein, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
