This petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Crime No.194 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Hudco Police Station, Krishnagiri District.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is only a driver and he is implicated in Crime No.194 of 2023 for the offences under Section 6 r/w 20 (1) COTPA Act 2003 & 328 of I.P.C. He is in judicial custody from 17.06.2023. Thus, he prays for bail. 3.In response, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on 17.06.2023 at 13.30 hours, the accused in this case had illegally transported the following tobacco products: i)Tobacco - 300kg, ii)Cool lip - 50kg and iii)Gudca - 350kg worth about Rs.1,99,920/- in a Toyoto Fortuner car bearing registration No.TN 38BE2224 in Osur to Krishnagiri NH Road. When stopped by the Police, they tried to escape, but Police barricades stopped the vehicle. Petitioner was alone apprehended.
