Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the Letter No.Assistant Engineer/O & M/Cookes Road/Petition No.458/2012 dated 04.12.2012 and Letter No.Assistant Engineer/O&M/Cookes Road/Regn.No.76/2012 dated 20.03.2013 of the second respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take on file the Application No.145/12/12/1167 dated 04.12.2012 of the petitioner and provide electricity connection to the petitioner's residence at Old No.35-A, New No.89, Chandra Yogi Samathi Road, Mangalapuram, Perambur, Chennai - 600 012.

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the application for providing new Electricity Service Connection is yet to be considered.

2. The learned Standing Counsel, appearing on behalf of the TANGEDGO, made a submission by stating that the respondents asked the petitioner to furnish all the relevant documents, including the allotment order issued by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board and other connected documents.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner has not produced all the relevant documents, the application is not considered. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to submit all the required documents for the purpose of considering his application and in the event of receiving all such informations, the respondents shall consider the application of the petitioner and take a decision on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and it is made clear that the application is to be considered only after submitting all the relevant documents by the petitioner.
