This Writ Petition has been filed for direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to approve the petitioner's appointment as Lecturer in Chemistry in the third respondent College with effect from 20.07.1994. 2.
The petitioner was appointed as Lecturer in Chemistry in the third respondent College and thereafter, her post was approved by the first respondent by his proceedings dated 12.05.2000 with effect from 11.03.2000. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation to approve her appointment from the date of her initial appointment dated 20.07.1994 for the purpose of attendant and other service benefits. 3.
The petitioner kept quiet for a period of 23 years and now 2/4
submitted representation and as such, the said request cannot be considered. Further, the petitioner did not even challenge the approval of her appointment in so far as the period is concerned. Thereafter, she made representation that too, after a period of 23 years, to approve her appointment from the date of her initial appointment. The writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed. 4.
Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
