This petition has been filed seeking for police protection.
2. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has taken a property for lease and she is running an Academy named as "SRIDE ARRTS ACADEMY". It is the grievance of the petitioner that the landlord had illegally shut down the property, as a result of which, the petitioner is not able to get into the property and all her movable properties are lying inside the shop. The petitioner claims to have spent nearly Rs.30,00,000/- towards investment and that the landlord is now preventing the petitioner from enjoying the property.

3. Therefore, a representation was given to the respondent police and the same was taken on file in C.S.R No.1625 of 2019. Since no action has been taken by the respondent police, the present petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.
4. The nature of dispute that has been projected in this case is landlord-tenant dispute which cannot be resolved by the police. The petitioner has to necessarily work out her remedy before the competent Court and seek for redressal. The police is not the competent authority to decide about the same. While agitating rights before the competent Civil Court, it is always open to the petitioner to seek for an appropriate relief including asking for police protection. The petition cannot be directly filed before this Court seeking for police protection.
5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy before the competent Court in accordance with law.
